Cadillac Models Add New MagneRide 4.0 Technology

2021 Cadillac Escalade | Beloit, WI

Get ready for an even smoother ride around Beloit, Wisconsin, thanks to the new MagneRide 4.0, now offered for Cadillac models. This next-generation Magnetic Ride Control system takes the superior performance quality of Cadillac vehicles and makes it even better. Debuting on the Cadillac CT4-V, CT5-V, Escalade, and CT5 Sport, MagneRide 4.0 is a fantastic suspension technology.

Innovative Technology

MagneRide 4.0 is the fourth generation of the Cadillac Magnetic Ride Control technology and improves responsiveness in varying road conditions. This version introduces major updates to the system, like new wheel accelerometers and updated magnetic flux control. It also has an inertial measurement unit, which is sensitive to the motion of the vehicle and allows it to adapt more quickly to bumps in the road.

A Smoother Ride

Within the active damping system, magnetorheological fluid and electromagnets work together to control the damping rate. The wheel accelerometers can read the road as much as 1,000 times each second. These readings then cause the magnetic charge to change, which in turn adjusts the damping rates of the vehicle’s shocks. The result of the system is a more relaxing, smoother ride, even on rough roads.

MagneRide 4.0 is just one of several innovations included in new Cadillac models. Discover more about these models when you give us a call at Bud Weiser Motors in Beloit, Wisconsin.

2021 Cadillac Escalade Will Feature Curved OLED Display.

2020 Cadillac Escalade

Cadillac is a brand known for going above and beyond when it comes to delivering new technologies to drivers. The latest of these innovations Cadillac plans to introduce is the automotive industry’s first curved OLED display.

OLED displays offer a high contrast as well as vivid colors and a quick response time, so you can easily view the screen. As for the new display, Cadillac will provide a 38-inch curved OLED display that has twice as much pixel density as a 4K television so it can showcase a crisp image and massive color range.

The first Cadillac to feature this curved OLED display will be the 2021 Cadillac Escalade. The latest iteration of the Escalade will make its debut in Los Angeles in February of 2020.

“From the highway to the big screen, the Escalade has been embraced by drivers and fans around the world,” said Steve Carlisle, Cadillac president. “We’re excited to introduce the 2021 Escalade during Oscars week in February.”

With the new display offering and other advanced technologies, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade has a lot to be excited about. Until the new luxury SUV is released, we encourage you to speak with our staff about the other Cadillac models available at Bud Weiser Motors.
