Cadillac is synonymous with quality and luxury — so it’s no surprise that the brand took one of the top spots in the J.D. Power 2022 U.S. Customer Service Index Study. In this study, the J.D. Power experts ranked automakers based on customer satisfaction in regard to the brand’s auto repair service. Using data from drivers with one-to-three-year-old vehicles, the survey found that Cadillac was among the highest-ranked premium brands.
In the study, customers shared their thoughts on their car’s automaker’s performance across five categories: service facilities, service initiation, vehicle pick up services, service advisors, and service quality. And for the latest iteration of the survey, J.D. Power inquired about the convenience of each brand’s contactless services, such as valets, remote vehicle services, and app-based payment availability.
With these criteria considered, Cadillac scored a whopping 880 out of 1,000 possible points. With a score like that, the brand earned the second-highest spot in the study, outpacing luxury rivals like Audi, Porsche, and BMW.
Never content to rest on its laurels, Cadillac is looking to keep improving its customer experience. The brand is currently gearing up to service electric models like the upcoming Cadillac LYRIQ. The Cadillac XT6 is renowned for its elegant styling, luxurious features, and capable performance. This premium three-row SUV also possesses a stellar reputation for safety — in fact, it was recently rated as a 2022 TOP SAFETY PICK+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
TOP SAFETY PICK+ is the highest rating handed out by IIHS, and it’s not easy to achieve. To start with, TSP+ vehicles are required to pass six tough collision tests to demonstrate that they can protect passengers in front collisions, side collisions, rollovers, and other dangerous crash situations.
TSP+ vehicles also need to offer available systems to prevent or mitigate frontal crashes with pedestrians and other vehicles. These systems must provide “advanced” or “superior” protection in crash testing. Finally, TSP+ vehicles have to be equipped with “acceptable” or “good” headlights at every trim level.
Not surprisingly, the XT6 excelled in meeting all these requirements. But this super SUV doesn’t stop once it’s covered the safety basics. It also comes standard with advanced technologies like Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Front and Rear Park Assist. On higher trims, you can even add cutting-edge features like Automatic Parking Assist, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Pedestrian Alert, and an HD Surround Vision camera system.
