2020 Cadillac XT6 Earns a Top Safety Pick+ Rating

2020 Cadillac XT6 | Beloit, WI

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the coveted Top Safety Pick+ rating to the 2020 Cadillac XT6. The midsize SUV received this designation for performing well in tests and having fantastic safety technologies.

The IIHS evaluates vehicles in numerous tests before presenting them with safety ratings. The Cadillac XT6 received a Good rating in the driver-side small overlap front and passenger-side small overlap front tests, as well as roof strength, head restraint, moderate overlap front and side crash tests.

The SUV also earned a Superior rating for its available Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking system in the Driver Assist package and its standard front crash prevention system. These high ratings are difficult to earn, and the Cadillac XT6 is one of only a few luxury SUVs to achieve the Top Safety Pick+ rating.

The SUV also comes with Front and Rear Park Assist, the Following Distance Indicator, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The protective systems in the Cadillac XT6 can help you have peace of mind on drives with your loved ones.

The technologies and protective design of the 2020 Cadillac XT6 can help keep you at ease on each ride, which is why we at Bud Weiser Motors are proud to offer the SUV.

Cadillac Super Cruise™ Technology.

Cadillac consistently pioneers cutting-edge technology for its vehicles. One of its latest and greatest innovations is Super Cruise™, a revolutionary system that does the driving for you. Here’s a look into how Super Cruise™ technology works.

Super Cruise™ merges the functions of different devices to create an integrated hands-free driving experience. It relies on radar sensors, cameras and GPS to digitally map and predict the road ahead. Then, when you activate Super Cruise™, it utilizes Adaptive Cruise Control to control your braking and acceleration, allowing the vehicle to keep moving forward without colliding with other vehicles.

Your Cadillac will even stay centered in its lane and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, all without your hands needing to guide the wheel. Accordingly, the technology makes for more relaxing and convenient rides.

Cadillac customers have been using the autonomous system for almost two years now, covering more than 3 million miles of compatible highway. Super Cruise™ is such a breakthrough in self-driving technology that Autoblog named it the 2019 Technology of the Year and Popular Science proclaimed it the 2018 Best of What’s New winner.

If you want to take the hassle out of highway driving and make your commutes easier, you can drive the 2019 or 2020 Cadillac CT6 and opt for Super Cruise™.  Learn more about the vehicles and their technology at Bud Weiser Motors.

New 2020 Cadillac XT6 Spot Created by Russo Brothers.

2020 Cadillac XT6

Cadillac recently teamed up with the famous film directors, Anthony and Joe Russo, to create a new 2020 Cadillac XT6 spot for the brand’s new campaign. The Russo brothers are best known for making huge blockbuster superhero movies, like “Avengers: Endgame,” so having them work on the Cadillac ad is exciting.

According to Cadillac, the “Crew Ready” campaign will also feature Diplo’s song, “Welcome to the Party.” The campaign wants to show the new Cadillac XT6 as sleek, versatile and unique, which is why the spots have an edgy overall feel and show that the XT6 is more than just a traditional SUV. With the campaign’s list of XT6 drivers including stuntwomen and even rocker dads, it makes sense that the Russo brothers were chosen to direct a spot.

Deborah Wahl, chief marketing officer of Cadillac said, “XT6 customers are always ready for an adventure, and we knew closely partnering with the directors of the highest ever grossing film, the Russo brothers, and Bullitt was the perfect way to bring this vision to life.”

We at Bud Weiser Motors think the new “Crew Ready” campaign is an entertaining way to showcase the new 2020 Cadillac XT6. Stop by our dealership for a test drive in one of our many other Cadillac vehicles.
