News broke last month that Cadillac is in the final stages of development for the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ, and production of the all-electric crossover will start in the first quarter of 2022.
The Cadillac LYRIQ was announced last year, the first vehicle the automaker said would be built on the new Ultium platform. Now, Cadillac has reached a benchmark of 80 percent validation testing, after months of rigorous test-driving on all kinds of terrain, and the Cadillac LYRIQ is ready for fine-tuning ahead of production.
Pre-orders quickly sold out for the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ, which Cadillac estimates will have over a 300-mile all-electric range with a full charge. It can gain around 76 miles of driving range after 10 minutes of DC fast charging, or 52 miles in an hour with a 240-volt charger.,
The Cadillac LYRIQ is set to put out 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, plenty of power for a crossover with ample seating and cargo space. The Cadillac LYRIQ will come with One-Pedal Driving, a Drive Mode Selector, and the Cadillac Smart System suite of active safety technology.
The 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ brings eco-friendly electric charging to the luxury car market. To learn more about the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ, contact Bud Weiser Motors in Beloit, Wisconsin.
