2023 Cadillac Escalade-V Raises $500,000 at Barrett-Jackson for Charity

2023 Cadillac Escalade-V | Beloit, WI

The very first production model of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V raised money for a good cause. The athletic SUV sold for $500,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction — and the proceeds benefitted the Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design. On top of that, a generous patron at the event donated an additional $25,000.

Raising money for tomorrow’s innovators.

The Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design holds the honor of being Michigan’s only historically Black college. The school is famous for providing educational opportunities for creative students in fields ranging from STEM and sustainability to business development and the graphic arts.

Global Cadillac Vice President Rory Harvey explained that the brand upholds ambition and dreaming big, so sponsoring the Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design is a natural fit. “We are grateful to Barrett-Jackson for providing a platform that will help make a difference for the next generation of creatives in Cadillac’s hometown of Detroit,” he further stated.

The Cadillac auction’s winning bidder won’t just get the first 2023 Escalade-V. They will also have the chance to design a sweet pair of shoes with popular footwear designer Dr. D’Wayne Edwards. Dr. Edwards is more than a high-profile designer — he also re-established the Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design 2021.

Super Cruise™ Towing Capability Included in Cadillac Escalade Update.

2022 Cadillac Escalade Sport | Beloit, WI

The Cadillac Escalade always offers the latest comforts and conveniences. For the latest model year, the Escalade upholds this tradition by adding the latest version of Super Cruise™ to its roster of advanced tech tools.

The new version of Super Cruise™ adds advanced towing capabilities along with the handy Automatic Lane Change feature. In addition to becoming available for the Escalade, the Cadillac CT4 and CT5 sedans can also receive this exciting update. However, these luxury sedans are less suited to towing than the powerful Escalade. As the brand’s flagship luxury SUV, it’s no surprise that the Escalade boasts impressive capabilities. When equipped with the 6.2-liter V8 engine, the Escalade can unleash 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, which it harnesses to deliver 8,200 pounds of towing capacity.

If you drive a Cadillac from the 2021 or 2022 model year lineup, you don’t have to miss out on these advanced tech features. You can receive the trailering update for Super Cruise™ via over-the-air updates. If you don’t have the ability to receive updates via OnStar connectivity, you can simply bring your Escalade to our dealership service center. Or if you’re looking to upgrade your daily drive, consider choosing a new or used Cadillac Escalade from Bud Weiser Motors in Beloit, Wisconsin.
