Surprising Elements on the Cadillac V-Series Blackwing | Beloit, WI

The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing are designed to go from the open road to the racetrack, boasting a thrilling ride thanks to their powerful engines and performance-driven design.

To make the Cadillac V-Series Blackwing line even more unique, Cadillac has added hidden details throughout, with etchings and other accents both inside the cabin and outside.

Cadillac designed the V-Series Blackwing to reflect the teams that made them, with maps of the cities where they were built etched into the paddle shifters on manual transmission models. You can find Mondrian patterns in various spots in the cabin, such as on the shift knob and on the underwing.

When you buy a Cadillac V-Series Blackwing model, you get a special plaque mounted in the steering wheel that’s unique to your vehicle. And to celebrate the engineers who created the Cadillac V-Series Blackwing line, the first 250 units built will come with collector plates signed by a member of the build team, a perfect option for Cadillac devotees.

You will even find more surprises under the hood. Cadillac has fitted the supercharged V8 engine on the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing with a plaque signed by the master builder. And these are just a few of the hidden details on the Blackwing lineup, according to Cadillac — there are more that haven’t been revealed, so owners can search for them.

Tips for Driving Your Cadillac in the Winter

2021 Cadillac XT5 Sport | Beloit, WI

Wisconsin winter weather can be wicked, which is why we want to offer some tips to keep you and your Cadillac safe on the road this year. Read on to learn some of the best tips for driving your Cadillac in winter.

Winterize your Cadillac

Even if you don’t put very many miles on your vehicle, it’s important to stay up-to-date on maintenance – especially in the winter. Make a point to schedule a winterizing service at Bud Weiser Motors so we can make sure your Cadillac is in fighting shape this winter.

Be prepared

Make sure you have an emergency kit in your vehicle in case you hit a patch of ice or your battery dies due to the cold. At minimum, your emergency kit should have blankets, water, and a first-aid kit. You could also consider packing a small snow shovel, flashlight, and jumper cables if you want to be really prepared.

Make a plan

Before you venture out, check the weather. If the news is reporting that historic blizzards are expected, you can probably skip the drive to the mall. If you have a concrete need to go out, make sure you communicate where you’ll be to a loved one so they can find you if you haven’t returned as expected.

Contact the Bud Weiser Motors service department in Beloit, Wisconsin, today to schedule your winterization appointment.

Maintenance Tasks to Complete in the Fall

2019 Cadillac Escalade Luxury | Beloit, WI

The change in season is a great signal for some car care. The following fall maintenance tasks will help you get your vehicle ready for the drop in temperature, storms, and weather changes that you love (and hate) about Wisconsin winters.

Check the battery.

A hot summer can put your car’s battery through the wringer. As fall rolls in and gives way to winter, your battery will be challenged even further. Now is the time to check what strength is left in your battery and replace it if necessary.

Review the tires.

Tires need substantial tread to keep you safely connected to the road, especially when the road is covered in rain, ice, or snow. Check the tread on your tires now before you put your safety at risk in dangerous weather conditions.

Replace the wiper blades.

Fall and winter bring heavy rain and snowfall, and the best way to travel through storms is with a clear windshield. If your wipers are damaged, leaving streaks, or making squeaks, you won’t have a clear view of the road, which puts you and everyone around you at risk. Not only do you want to replace your wiper blades, but you also might want to consider upgrading to winter wiper blades.

Get your vehicle ready for the change in season with a service check at Bud Weiser Motors in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Typical Car Maintenance Needs in the Summer.

2021 Cadillac XT4 Sport | Beloit, WI

Summer has returned to Beloit, Wisconsin, and that means it’s time to give your ride a little bit of TLC. Before you set out on your next great American road trip, you’ll want to make sure that you’re up to date on all your summer car maintenance needs.

Tires.

Tires are crucial for smooth, safe driving. Check to ensure that they’re properly inflated and offer a sufficient amount of tread. If it’s been a while since you’ve had them rotated, you can get the job done at Bud Weiser Motors.

Battery.

High temperatures will cause extra stress on an old battery, which can leave you stranded by the roadside. Bring your Cadillac into Bud Weiser Motors, and we’ll perform a check to ensure that your battery is up for the task. If not, we can replace it quickly and easily.

Oil and fluids.

If you’re due for an oil change, don’t wait until after your next road trip. Make sure that your vehicle has enough clean motor oil to get you safely to your destination and back. And while you’re at it, make sure that you have plenty of other key fluids like coolant, transmission fluid, and brake fluid. If you’re not sure where to start, we can help.

Windshield wipers.

Summertime means having to deal with the occasional rain shower, and the last thing you want is to be caught in a downpour with old wiper blades. You should have your wipers replaced about every six months, and you can get this done on the regular when you visit Bud Weiser Motors for routine service.

Air conditioning.

You don’t want to face down a 90-degree day with a busted AC. Before the temperatures begin to soar, test your vehicle’s air conditioning to make sure it’s kicking out clean, cool air. If not, bring your ride in, and we’ll help you beat the heat.

When summer calls, Bud Weiser Motors helps your Cadillac pick up the phone. Stop in for all your summer car maintenance needs, and you’ll be enjoying summer driving in no time.

How To Maintain Your Luxury Cadillac in Beloit, WI.

2021 Cadillac Escalade | Beloit, WI

From thrilling cars to sophisticated SUVs, the Cadillac lineup has something for everyone, and it’s no wonder that many Cadillac models are considered dream cars. If you’ve purchased one of these envy-inducing models, it’s important to take the time to properly maintain it, or your dream car may develop some nightmarish problems. Here are some key ways to maintain your luxury Cadillac.

Keep up with service.

You need to follow the maintenance schedule outlined in your owner’s manual. This is one of the easiest ways to make sure your Cadillac is up to date on service and keeps functioning properly.

Clean the seats.

If you have premium leather seats, it’s worth the effort it takes to clean them twice a week and keep them looking like new. Vacuum them thoroughly, using the suction hose for different crevices, and then wipe them down with a leather cleaner and microfiber cloth.

Inspect the tires.

While filling up at the gas station or charging the battery, take a look at your tires. Ensure they have enough air pressure and that they don’t have any cuts or bulges. This can help prevent a future blowout.

If your Cadillac is ready for service, schedule an appointment at Bud Weiser Motors in Beloit, Wisconsin, and our technicians will gladly assist you.
